Steinway Artist Steve Hall has been playing the piano since the age of five. His father, a self-taught pianist, recognized Steve's musical talent early on and encouraged his son to take piano lessons. Classically trained until the age of eighteen, Steve began playing in front of audiences at a young age when his parents enrolled him in competitions and recitals. Throughout elementary and high school, Steve performed in numerous musicals and talent shows, and was a member of the high school dance. band. After high school, Steve attended the University of Southern California, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor degree in music. Upon graduation from USC, Steve originally planned to become a teacher but instead began a management career in banking. Although banking became his profession (Steve was most recently the vice president of the Bank of Hollywood in Toluca Lake, California), music remained his passion. Steve had developed a music business at the age of eighteen and continued to pursue it on a part-time basis throughout his career. Steve and several other musicians entertained at over 1200 private parties and weddings, including those of the rich and famous. Steve has performed at the Caesar's Palace Hotel & Casino n Las Vegas and for the notable producer Aaron Spelling and the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast.

At every event he performed at, Steve's music and styling received tremendous attention. Enthusiastic fans began to request recorded samples of his music, and soon Steve became known as the "Banker with a Beat." Encouraged by the overwhelming response, Steve formed Bankbeat Productions, Inc. in 1992 and released his first album, a collection of romantic favorites titled Notes of Romance, in July of '92. The album sold rapidly and Steve's music was soon picked up by national distributing companies.

After three successful album Steve Hall began to concentrate on recording the music of his childhood - inspirational music. Despite the skepticism on the part of his distributors on the appeal of inspirational music to the public, Steve was determined to carry out the project. His 1996 inspirational CD, On Eagles Wings, was welcomed by fans with open arms and remains the number one selling album in the gift market today.
